Our Commitment to Privacy

This Privacy Policy covers the 2Live apps on both Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). We aim to be transparent about how your data is handled. We do not run our own analytics or ad servers — the limited data the apps collect is processed by the third-party partners listed below, mainly to show ads, run analytics, and manage subscriptions. Some features are platform-specific and are noted as such throughout this policy.

Data We Collect

Advertising & Tracking

Both apps show ads through Google AdMob. How consent is gathered depends on your platform and region:

• Android: we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). In the EEA/UK and other regions that require it, you're shown a consent choice before any ads. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
• iOS: we ask for your permission with Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you don't allow tracking, you'll see non-personalized (contextual) ads. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• EEA/UK users (all platforms): are shown a consent choice (Google UMP) before any ads are served.
• You can also opt out of in-app analytics in the app's Settings.

On-Device Processing (iOS)

On iOS, 2Live can convert your videos into Live Photo wallpapers, and this is designed with privacy at its core:

• All video conversion happens locally on your device
• No videos are uploaded to any server
• Works completely offline
• Your video content never leaves your device

Muse — AI Wallpaper Creation

Muse lets you type an idea and turn it into a wallpaper. Where Apple Intelligence is available, the picture is made on your device with Image Playground and nothing leaves it; otherwise it is made in the cloud as described below. Creating new pictures and Make it live are part of 2Live Pro.

• For cloud creation, the idea text you type is sent to our server, and from there to a third-party image model (currently Google Gemini, via OpenRouter) to create the picture. We never send this to an advertiser.
• Where available, Apple's on-device or Private Cloud Compute Foundation Models may help phrase your idea before it is sent.
• Both your prompt and the generated picture are checked by automated safety systems — a term list and Meta Llama Guard on our server, and Apple's on-device Vision framework in the app — before the picture is shown to you.
• Created pictures stay on your device and are not shared with other users unless you save or share them yourself.
• Make it live: the picture is sent to our server and a third-party video model (currently ByteDance Seedance or Google Veo, via OpenRouter), and a vision model describes the motion. The finished Live Photo is kept on our server so our team can review and feature good ones in the app's catalog; nothing is shown to other users without that review. Ask us to delete a kept Live Photo at any time.
• If you report a picture, that picture and the prompt that created it are logged so our team can review it. Reported content is kept only as long as needed for moderation and abuse prevention, then deleted.
• You don't have to use Muse; no other part of the app depends on it.

Wish Board

Wish Board lets you post a wallpaper idea publicly under a nickname you choose, and lets other users vote on it.

• Wishes are reviewed before they appear publicly (pre-moderated).
• Your nickname and wish text are visible to other users; we recommend not using your real name as your nickname.
• You can report a wish you believe is inappropriate by emailing hello@2livewallpaper.app; reported wishes are reviewed and may be removed.

Referrals & Credits

2Live has no account or sign-in. To let you invite friends and track free in-app credits, we link your invite code and credit balance to an anonymous device identifier derived from your App Attest (iOS) / Play Integrity (Android) session — not to your name, email, or any personal profile.

Wallpaper Content & Network

Browsable wallpapers are delivered from our content backend through a third-party content delivery network (CDN). Like any network request, this means your IP address is visible to our backend and the CDN. Wallpapers you download are saved to your device's gallery / Photos library. The Android app is a wallpaper browser and does not perform any video conversion.

Cloud Sync (iOS only)

iCloud sync is available on iOS only; the Android app does not use iCloud. If you enable iCloud sync on iOS:

• Only project metadata is synced (not actual videos)
• Data is stored in your personal iCloud account and encrypted by Apple
• Apple's privacy policy applies to iCloud data
• You can disable sync at any time

Third-Party Services

The apps share data with these processors, each governed by its own privacy policy. Some apply only to a specific platform (noted in brackets):

• Google AdMob: advertising (advertising ID, ad and device data). Google Privacy Policy

• Apple [iOS]: app distribution, In-App Purchase, iCloud, and (where available) on-device / Private Cloud Compute Foundation Models. Apple Privacy
• OpenRouter (Google Gemini, ByteDance Seedance, Google Veo): Muse prompt text, and for Make it live the picture, are routed through OpenRouter to third-party image and video models. Prompts and images pass through Meta Llama Guard for safety screening. OpenRouter Privacy
• Content delivery network: wallpaper content delivery via a third-party CDN.

Your Choices & Rights

• Android: reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in Settings → Google → Ads; change ad consent via the in-app/UMP form; manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store → Subscriptions.
• iOS: opt out of ad tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions; disable iCloud sync from the app's Settings.
• Opt out of in-app analytics in the app's Settings (all platforms).

Data Security & Retention

We do not operate our own analytics or ad servers. The third-party processors listed above store the data they receive under their own policies and retention periods. On-device content stays in your device's secure sandbox; iCloud data (iOS) is encrypted in your personal Apple account. Reported Muse pictures, their prompts, and reported Wish Board posts are kept only as long as needed for moderation and abuse prevention, then deleted.

Children's Privacy

2Live is rated 4+ on the App Store and is intended for users aged 13 and older on Google Play. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Premium Features

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled by the platform's store:

• Android: payment is processed by Google Play; subscription state is validated via Adapty. Manage subscriptions in the Google Play Store.
• iOS: payment is processed by Apple; subscription state is managed via RevenueCat. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings.
• We never store your payment information.
• The platform's and processor's privacy policies apply to transactions.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, may notify you in the app.
