1440×3120, the same QHD+ canvas as the S25 Ultra — still the highest-resolution wallpaper on this list, and its Always-On display is the strongest argument for true-black AMOLED art.
How to set a live wallpaper on the Galaxy S26 Ultra
- 1
Save the wallpaper to your Galaxy S26 Ultra
Open it in 2Live and tap Save. It downloads at your screen's exact resolution, so the launcher has nothing to scale.
- 2
Set it as your lock screen
Long-press the home screen → Wallpaper and style → pick the image → apply to the lock screen. On an Always-On display, a true-black AMOLED wallpaper leaves those pixels switched off.
Galaxy S26 Ultra wallpaper FAQ
What wallpaper size does the Galaxy S26 Ultra use?
1440 × 3120 pixels on a 6.9" display — an aspect ratio of about 19.5:9. Anything smaller is upscaled by the OS and looks soft; anything a different shape gets cropped.
Can the Galaxy S26 Ultra use live wallpapers?
Yes. Galaxy S26 Ultra supports moving wallpapers, and 2Live delivers them at your exact screen resolution so nothing is scaled.
Do AMOLED wallpapers save battery on the Galaxy S26 Ultra?
On an OLED panel a true-black pixel is a pixel that is switched off, so a genuinely black wallpaper draws less power — which matters most on a device that keeps the display on. That is why the AMOLED collection leads this page.
