Complaints Guide

Last updated: July 1, 2026

2Live and Muralux are wallpaper apps that host both our own artwork and wallpapers submitted by our community. We are committed to keeping them safe, lawful, and pleasant to use. This guide explains what content is not allowed, how to report anything that concerns you, and how quickly we respond. If you are ever in doubt, report it — we would rather review a false alarm than miss real harm.

1. How to Report Content

You can report any wallpaper or user-submitted content you believe breaks the rules below. Please include as much detail as you can so we can find and review it quickly.

  1. Email us at abuse@2livewallpaper.app with the subject line “Content Report”.
  2. Identify the content: the wallpaper title or collection, a screenshot, and where you saw it (app screen, link, or ID).
  3. Tell us why you're reporting it (which category below it falls under) and, if relevant, your relationship to it (e.g. you are the person depicted).
  4. In the app, you can also use the report/flag option where available.

You do not need an account to report content, and you may ask to remain anonymous to other users. We only use your contact details to process your report.

2. Urgent & Illegal Content — Zero Tolerance

Some content is never acceptable and is removed immediately on discovery, with the account barred and, where the law requires, reported to the relevant authorities:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any content that sexualizes minors. We report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or local authorities and preserve evidence as required by law.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII): intimate or sexual images shared without the consent of the person depicted, including “deepfake” or AI-generated intimate imagery of a real person.
  • Content that threatens imminent harm: credible threats of violence, or content promoting terrorism or the sexual exploitation of others.

If you are reporting CSAM or NCII, email abuse@2livewallpaper.app with “URGENT” in the subject line so we prioritize it. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

3. Prohibited Content

Beyond the illegal categories above, the following are not allowed in wallpapers we host or accept as submissions:

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit content: our apps are general-audience; explicit sexual content is not permitted.
  • Hate speech & harassment: content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, sexual orientation, or similar protected characteristics.
  • Graphic violence & gore: shocking, gratuitously violent, or gory imagery.
  • Infringing content: artwork, logos, characters, or photos you do not have the right to submit (for copyright specifically, see our Copyright Policy).
  • Private information: content that exposes another person's private information, or uses their image or likeness without consent.
  • Deceptive, harmful, or illegal-goods content: scams, malware, or the promotion of illegal drugs, weapons, or activities.

4. How We Handle Reports

  • Acknowledgement: we aim to confirm receipt of your report within 2 business days.
  • Review: a member of our team reviews the content against this guide. We may remove or restrict access to content while we review it.
  • Action: if content breaks the rules, we remove it and may warn, suspend, or permanently bar the contributor. Illegal content is escalated to the authorities where required.
  • Outcome: where you have given us contact details, we try to let you know the outcome of your report.

Timeline: most reports are resolved within a few business days. Clearly illegal or urgent content (Section 2) is actioned as soon as we become aware of it.

5. Appeals & Removals of Your Own Content

If your submission was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or you want your own submitted wallpaper taken down, email us at hello@2livewallpaper.app and we will review it. If your report concerns your own copyrighted work, our Copyright Policy sets out a formal notice and counter-notice process.
