Our Commitment to Privacy
At 2Live, we aim to be transparent about how your data is handled. The best part: all video-to-Live-Photo processing happens entirely on your device — your videos and photos never leave your iPhone. This policy explains the limited data the app and our partners do collect, mainly to show ads, run analytics, and manage subscriptions.
Data We Collect
What we DON'T collect
- Your videos or photos — all editing happens on-device
- Your precise GPS location
- Your contacts, name, email, or password
What we (and our partners) DO collect
- Advertising identifier (IDFA) & advertising data: via Google AdMob, to show and measure ads. Used for tracking only if you allow it through the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- App user & device identifiers: via Firebase, Mixpanel, and RevenueCat, to run analytics and manage your subscription.
- Product-interaction data: taps, screen views, downloads, and likes, to understand usage and improve the app (Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel).
- Purchase data: your subscription status (RevenueCat and Apple). We never receive your card details.
- Crash & diagnostic data: anonymous crash logs and performance data (Firebase Crashlytics), not linked to your identity.
- Approximate location: estimated from your IP address by our ad and content-delivery partners (not GPS).
Advertising & Tracking
2Live shows ads through Google AdMob. On iOS we ask for your permission with Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt:
- If you allow tracking: AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), combined with data from other apps and websites, to show more relevant ads and measure ad performance.
- If you don't allow tracking: you'll see non-personalized (contextual) ads, and iOS blocks the ad-tracking domains.
- EEA/UK users: are shown a consent choice (Google UMP) before any ads.
- You can change your tracking choice anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and opt out of our analytics in the app's Settings.
On-Device Processing
2Live is designed with privacy at its core:
- All video conversion happens locally on your iPhone
- No videos are uploaded to any server
- Works completely offline
- Your content never leaves your device
Wallpaper Content & Network
Browsable wallpapers are delivered from our content backend through a third-party content delivery network (CDN). Like any website, this involves standard network requests, so your IP address is visible to the CDN. Wallpapers you download are saved to your Photos library on your device.
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync:
- Only project metadata is synced (not actual videos)
- Data is stored in your personal iCloud account
- It is encrypted by Apple
- Apple's privacy policy applies to iCloud data
- You can disable sync at any time
Third-Party Services
The app shares data with these processors, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob: advertising (IDFA, ad and device data). Google Privacy Policy

Your Choices & Rights
- Opt out of ad tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (or via the EEA/UK consent form)
- Opt out of analytics in the app's Settings
- Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions
- Delete local app data or disable iCloud sync from the app's Settings

Data Security & Retention
We do not operate our own analytics or ad servers. The third-party processors listed above store the data they receive under their own policies and retention periods. On-device content stays in iOS's secure sandbox and is never transmitted; iCloud data is encrypted in your personal Apple account.
Children's Privacy
2Live is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Premium Features
Subscriptions are handled through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat:
- Payment is processed by Apple
- We don't store payment information
- Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings
- Apple's and RevenueCat's privacy policies apply to transactions
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, may notify you in the app.
